The logiAIR audio IR digital FM modulator is a very compact IP core from Xylon logicBRICKS IP library. The core converts digital stereo audio input into trains of digital pulses fed into a simple analog front-end emitter, placed externally to the Xilinx FPGA. Standard IR headphones convert broadcasted audio into a clean sound. The logiAIR supports accentuation of higher frequencies recognized by standard wireless headphones and transmits audio signals with various sample resolutions and sampling rates.
